FIREFIGHTERS were called into action to tackle a car blaze today.The fire took hold in a car in Campion Road, Chantry, at around 3.22am.Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with one hose reel jet and the flames were under control by 3.47am.

A fire service spokeswoman said the blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
