FIREFIGHTERS tackled a caravan fire just off the A12 last night.
Two crews, one from the headquarters station in Colchester Road and another from Woodbridge, arrived at the scene in Martlesham at about 8.30pm to find the caravan well alight.
Crews used breathing equipment and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze, bringing the incident under control and extinguishing the flames by around 8.45pm.
