A CAR owner has been left shocked after he discovered that the culprit behind vandalism to his precious motors was not rogue youths as he thought - but a tiny bird.
Freelance photographer Adam Fradgley decided to set up a camera to catch the offender behind the £2,000 damage to his Audi G2 and Golf GTI.
And he was left shocked when he uncovered the truth - an angry chaffinch was attacking the vehicles, taking chunks out of the bodywork around the mirrors and windows.
Mr Fradgley, of Bewdley in Worcestershire, believes that the bird attacked after spotting his reflection and thinking it was a rival.
He and his wife now park their cars in different positions in a bid to stop the tiny winged wrecker attacking again - and thus far the bird has stayed away.
