The country’s only German wheel gymnastics team based in Kesgrave will be holding an open weekend featuring demonstrations and a chance to find out how to get involved.
The Torwood Wheelers will be at Kesgrave Sports Centre from 1-6pm on Saturday, April 1 and 10am-4pm the following day, where club members will be performing and new members are encouraged to sign up.
Already, people as far afield as Bristol and Yorkshire have signed up to visit.
Torwood Wheelers president John Colles said: “As the only club in the UK which trains the sport of German Wheel, our workshops are always in big demand, the coaching will be done by our club coaches.
We are also running a cyr wheel group and this will be coached by Kris Madden, who is one of the best cyr coaches in the country.”
Anyone is welcome to turn up on the day, or email the club here for more details.
