ARTHUR has made fan-tash-tic effort for charity as he shaves off half his moustache to help raise almost £2,000 for Children in Need and the NSPCC.
Arthur Diaper, a partner at J W Diaper & Sons poultry firm in Haughley New Street, near Stowmarket, has been sporting the lop-sided look for 22 days so far.
The 55-year-old plans to continue until tomorrow, when he will shave off the other half.
He said: “I have been getting some funny looks and comments and my wife is annoyed because she thinks it has gone on to long and we have social functions to attend.
“But it is a charitable stunt which should bring in almost £2,000 by the end and comes after I did it a couple of years ago for Comic Relief raising £700 then.”
