AN OPEN air service to celebrate Pentecost will held in Ipswich this weekend.
Congregations from all of Ipswich's Christian churches will be coming together for the service on the Cornhill at 11am on Sunday, May 31.
More than 25 churches have been involved in supporting the event, which will see performances from choirs and musicians.
The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, the Right Revd Nigel Stock will address the Fire of Change service which marks Pentecost-a Christian festival held 50 days after Easter.
Reverend Antony Wilson, who has led the planning team, said: “We want to join together as Christians to encourage one another and to be a witness in the town.”
There will also be a double decker red bus displaying the message 'There definitely is a God'.
