CLASSICAL superstar, Katherine Jenkins, has announced a trip to the woods next summer when she will be appearing at High Lodge, Thetford Forest, in Suffolk.

Miss Jenkins will be performing with the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Anthony Inglis.

The concert will be supporting the Forestry Commission's valuable social and environmental programmes.

Re-defining the concept of classical crossover, Katherine has achieved global sales of over 3 million. Her debut album, 2004's appropriately titled 'Premiere', was the fastest selling of all time by a Mezzo Soprano, with well over 30,000 copies snapped up in the first week.

Katherine Jenkins and the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by conductor Anthony Inglis, will be performing on July 12.

Tickets cost £28.50 and go on general sale from 9am on November 23.
