A CAR and a lorry were involved in a road traffic collision on the A14 today. Police said the accident happened on the Bury St Edmunds bound carriage way between the Seven Hills junction and Nacton interchange shortly before 8am.

Police said the accident happened on the Bury St Edmunds bound carriage way between the Seven Hills junction and Nacton interchange shortly before 8am.
Police spokeswoman Anna Woolnough said traffic had built up behind the scene of the collision but one lane had remained open.
She added: “There were no injuries and the ambulance service was not called. Recovery is under way and the road is expected to be clear shortly.”
