Concern for missing Essex man

POLICE have become concerned for a man who went missing from his Essex home following a family bereavement.

POLICE have become concerned for a man who went missing from his Essex home following a family bereavement.

Alan Curry, 59, of Uplands Road, of Hockley, has not been seen since Friday.

Mr Curry often walks by the rivers and along the coastal paths of Essex. A police helicopter searched the area around the River Crouch but could not find him.

He is white, 6ft, with short cropped hair and of stout build. Anyone with information should call Rayleigh Police on 01268 775533.
