EMERGENCY services have attended the scene of an accident in Ipswich today.

EMERGENCY services have attended the scene of an accident in Ipswich today.

Three fire crews were called to St Helen's Street in the town centre today after a car and a van collided and the van overturned at about 6.30pm.

The van ended up on its side in a dangerous position, and was leaking fuel, but the firefighters were able to upright it.

One person was taken to hospital as a result of the crash, but it is not known how serious their injuries were.
