An crash on the Orwell Bridge is causing issues for motorists this evening.
It happened on the eastbound carriageway around 4pm and involved a Citroen van and Volvo V70, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
There are not thought to be any serious injuries as a result of the incident but there is a vehicle blocking part of each lane.
Traffic is able to move slowly past the scene the spokesman added but there were delays experienced over the bridge while the vehicles were recovered.
The car and tha van had both been towed into a layby by 5pm.
