A PEDESTRIAN who was hit by a Ford Escort three weeks ago has died in hospital, it was revealed today.Michael Hirst, 60, of Deben Road, Woodbridge died at Ipswich Hospital on Tuesday, January 13 after the incident on December 23.
A PEDESTRIAN who was hit by a Ford Escort three weeks ago has died in hospital, it was revealed today.
Michael Hirst, 60, of Deben Road, Woodbridge died at Ipswich Hospital on Tuesday, January 13 after the incident on December 23.
A Ford Escort being driven by a 77-year-old man from Woodbridge collided with Mr Hirst at 5.05pm at The Thoroughfare, Woodbridge.
A coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held in due course.
This death brings the total number of fatalities on Suffolk roads during 2003 to 60 from 50 collisions.
