A MOTORCYCLIST killed on an Essex road this weekend has been named.
John Thompson, 49, from Great Bentley, died on Colchester Road at St Osyth at about 10.30am yesterday.
Paramedics were called to the scene but there was nothing that could be done to save Mr Thompson, who leaves left a partner, Heather and a daughter, Polly, 17.
Mr Thompson had been on a black Suzuki and police have said there were two other vehicles involved - a blue Mitsubishi saloon and a parked red Fiat.
