The crash happened on the A146 Norwich Road affecting traffic travelling in both directions.
A woman was treated at the scene for minor whiplash.
Elsewhere, in Cockfield, near Bury St Edmunds, motorists were delayed after a lorry collided with a broken down car.
The accident temporarily closed the A134, between the A1141 and Alpheton, while recovery took place.
Both collisions happened shortly before 1.30pm.
