Crews extinguish two fires in Ipswich

CREWS were called out to two fires in Ipswich today.

CREWS were called out to two fires in Ipswich today.

The first - a small grass fire - took place in Landseer Park at around 8.49pm. Firefighters from Princes Street took ten minutes to douse the flames, using buckets of water.

The second, at 9.20pm, involved part of a fence in Sirdar Road. A crew from Princes Street extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet in less than ten minutes.
