FIREFIGHTERS have battled a fire in a disused bar in Lowestoft.
They were alerted to the fire at the three-storey Bar FM in Commercial Road at about 8.25pm.
The fire involved two floors and police officers had to cordon off the area.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said it sent three crews from the town and a hydraulic platform from Great Yarmouth to deal with the incident.
She said there was smoke damage to at least three neighbouring properties and the fire was brought under control by about 10.20pm.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said it had initially been called but no-one was thought to be hurt.
