Crowfield road closed after crash

TWO drivers were taken to hospital today after a road accident between two cars and a heavy tractor in Crowfield.

TWO drivers were taken to hospital today after a road accident between two cars and a heavy tractor in Crowfield.

Debenham Road was closed for around over an hour when a blue Vauxhall Astra estate, a silver Toyota Aygo and a white heavy tractor collided.

The male car drivers were taken to Ipswich Hospital, one with chest pain and the other with a cut lip.

One lane of the road reopened at 9.10am and grit was put on the road to counteract spilt oil and diesel.

The road was cleared at 10am.
