A CRUISE ship with seventeen Britons on board has become trapped in ice, it emerged this morning.
The MV Ocean Nova ran aground near an Argentine base on Antarctica at around 3am (GMT) yesterday.
A statement on the Argentine Navy's website said there were "no risks" for the 65 passengers and 41 crew aboard after flying a plane over the site.
The captain is planning to attempt to dislodge the ship at high tide.
