AN eight-year-old girl has been left traumatised after being threatened with a blade by two fellow primary school pupils over her new mobile phone.

Now her father, Barry Scott, has hit out at the lack of action taken by authorities.

The youngsters involved were below the age of criminal responsibility so the police could not take any direct action against them and because it happened outside school hours or premises there was no formal action that the headteacher could take.

The girl has been left feeling nervous and her father is angry that little can be done.
