HE may be small but on the golf course this young lad from Ipswich is a force to be reckoned with.

David Huggins, nine, of Romney Road, Ipswich, is basking in the national spotlight after appearing on BBC1's programme, The One Show.

David appeared on the evening chat show yesterday after scoring his third hole-in-one, an achievement many golfers wait a lifetime for.

Appearing alongside international golfing hero Seve Ballesteros, David showed off his skills to the nation.

David, a pupil of Pipers Vale Primary School, registered his first ace when he was just four-years-old and since then he has managed to score a further two while playing in junior competitions for Stonham Barns golf club, believed to be one of the few clubs in the country to hold tournaments for the under 12s.

The Ipswich golfing superstar is set to have a bright future on the golf course.
