THE potentially deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu has been found among turkeys in a Bernard Matthews poultry farm in Suffolk, the EU Commission confirmed today.
Tests for the dangerous form of avian flu were carried out at the European Union laboratory in Weybridge, following an outbreak in which more than 2,000 turkeys have died.
The farm at the centre of the outbreak i the Bernard Matthews site at Holton.
