AN INVESTIGATION is under way today following the death of a man who was hit by a train near Ipswich.Police were called to the railway line in the area of Bobbits Lane at Wherstead just after midnight today and found the body of a man, thought to be aged in his 40s.
AN INVESTIGATION is under way today following the death of a man who was hit by a train near Ipswich.
Police were called to the railway line in the area of Bobbits Lane at Wherstead just after midnight today and found the body of a man, thought to be aged in his 40s.
British Transport Police, which is now handling the investigation, said at this point the man's death was not being treated as suspicious.
