The A12
Four cars have collided on the London-bound carriageway of the A12 near Capel St Mary and East Bergholt this morning, leading to severe delays.
The inside lane has been closed off by police and there are queues back to the Copdock interchange.
A second collision on the northbound carriageway, a minor accident involving two cars, has added to the delays in the area.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said the crash had involved a Ford Focus, a Ford Galaxy a BMW and a Renault Megane, but not one had been injured.
Motorists are being advised that traffic is moving slowly in the area while recovery is underway.
