POLICE are warning elderly people in Ipswich to be on their guard against bogus callers today after a man was burgled in the town.The 94-year-old answered his door to a man claiming to be from the water board.
POLICE are warning elderly people in Ipswich to be on their guard against bogus callers today after a man was burgled in the town.
The 94-year-old answered his door to a man claiming to be from the water board.
The offender was allowed inside the property in Gordon Road and went into the kitchen to check under the sink. When he man left the house, the resident discovered cash and cards had been stolen.
The incident happened at about 5.45pm on Monday.
