MOTORISTS were brought to a standstill on the A14 today after a black dog ran out on to the carriageway.Police received 13 calls about the animal which had got on to the road near to the Asda turn off.
TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill on the A14 today after a black dog ran on to the carriageway.
Police received 13 calls about the animal which had got on to the road near to the Asda turn-off at 7.30am.
Three motorists helped to capture the dog, which is believed to be a Great Dane, and tied it up at the side of the road.
Police collected the animal which is now at the Ipswich police station.
