Fire crews were called to deal with two car fires on the same street in Tostock.
Elmswell and Bury firefighters arrived in Church Lane, shortly before midnight last night, to find two cars well alight.
Flames had begun to spread to a wooden structure housing the vehicles but crews were able to control the blaze before it could do extensive damage.
An hour after they arrived, firefighters using hoses and breathing apparatus declared the area safe again.
