The Capel Twins and Multiples Club held a special event to mark the milestone today, with children taking the opportunity to show off their best fancy dress.

Run by Chris Matthews and Fiona Farrell, the group puts on weekly sessions at Capel Community Church where parents and carers of pre-school age multiples can meet-up for support and chat while their little ones play.

Kesgrave resident Mrs Farrell, who is 41 and mother to five-year-old twin boys Liam and Connor, said people came from all over Suffolk and Essex to attend.

“It’s very informal, people make themselves at home and we have arts and crafts sessions, sing along time and there’s always cakes and tea and coffee for the parents,” she added.

“At our twins club no one judges you because we are all in the same boat and we all offer each other help and advice.”

The sessions are held every Wednesday during term-time and new members are welcome. Further details can be found on the club’s Facebook page.
