A MAN arrested on suspicion of drink driving after the car he was driving careered through two fences in Ipswich is today on police bail.
Police were called to Woodbridge Road East at 4.10am yesterday following reports of a crash.
When they arrived they found the blue Ford Fiesta had flattened two fences on the grounds of West Villa near the rear entrance of Ipswich Hospital and the driver, a 20-year-old from Kesgrave, stood nearby.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital and was held at Ipswich police station before being released on bail, to return on October 19.
