A DRIVER has been taken to hospital following a two car crash in Haverhill.
The accident happened at 9.40pm last night close to the roundabout junction of the A1307 and the A1017. Two fire crews from Haverhill and one from Bury St Edmunds were sent to the scene.
The driver of one of the cars involved was trapped in the vehicle and was freed by firefighters before being taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury. The extent of the person's injuries are currently unclear.
The incident was dealt with by 11pm.
