Driver unlikely to have died as a result of crash
A motorist who ploughed through a hedge and into a field is likely to have died as a result of natural causes, The Evening Star understands.
The car was being driven along Edmonton Road, Kesgrave, around 2.30pm on Sunday, when it went straight over Main Road, through a hedge and around 50 yards into arable farmland.
Witnesses saw paramedics attempt to resuscitate the man - who is from the local area – but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yesterday there was little evidence of the smash aside from a damaged bollard, a slight gap in the hedge and faint tyre tracks in the field.
Stuart Weiss, 20, of Main Road, Kesgrave, who saw the aftermath, said: “The police were trying to do CPR on someone and then five minutes later the ambulance turned up.”
