A blue Nissan Micra and a blue Hyundai collided just before 10am near Wangford Hall on Wangford Road in Reydon, near Southwold.
Fire crews helped to free the drivers from the vehicles but the road is likely to be closed for some time while the scene is cleared and a diversion route will be put in place.
