Ducklings die in Bury blaze

MORE than 2,000 five-day old ducklings perished in a ferocious farm blaze yesterday.The young birds were trapped in a shed which caught fire at Potters Farm, The Common, Rickinghall, near Bury St Edmunds.

The young birds were trapped in a shed which caught fire at Potters Farm, The Common, Rickinghall, near Bury St Edmunds.
Firefighters from Ixworth, Eye and Diss were called to tackle the blaze at 7.26am and had it under control just over an hour later.
