Dustman injured in road crash
A DUSTMAN is today in hospital with serious head injuries after being in a collision getting out of his bin collection lorry.

The 34-year-old man had been driving the lorry for Ipswich Borough Council when he got out of the driver's side of the vehicle at 9.30am today .
It was on Tuddenham Road, in Ipswich, near to the junction with Christchutch Street, where the man was then in a collision with an on-coming Audi car.
He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
The male driver of the Audi and his wife, who was also in the car, were not thought to have been injured but were in a state of distress.
Pc Paul Smith, of the road's policing unit, said: “The man has suffered serious head injuries from the accident.
