BOGUS plumbers gained entry to a house in the Great Yarmouth area and stole money from two elderly women.The conmen convinced the occupants of the house in Station Road, Southtown on Good Friday that they needed to check the plumbing had not been damaged in a supposed explosion elsewhere in the town.
BOGUS plumbers gained entry to a house in the Great Yarmouth area and stole money from two elderly women.
The conmen convinced the occupants of the house in Station Road, Southtown on Good Friday that they needed to check the plumbing had not been damaged in a supposed explosion elsewhere in the town.
While one of the men distracted the females the other searched around the house and stole money. Neither woman was physically harmed but they are both suffering from shock.
Norfolk police have issued descriptions of the pair. Both are in their 20's, one is 5ft 10in, slim, dark brown short hair and smartly dressed.
The other man is 5ft 7in, medium build with dark brown short hair and with the appearance of acne on his cheeks.
