COUNTERFEIT clothing worth around £1,000 has been seized following a trading standards raid on a Needham Market car boot sale.
Fake designer jeans and trainers were among the items taken by Suffolk trading standards following a tip-off call by organisers of the car boot sale at Needham Lake.
A formal warning was issued to the trader.
Jill Korwin, assistant county trading standards officer said: "I would like to take the opportunity to praise the organisers at Needham Market.
“Because they were alert to the problem our officers were able to take direct action.”
