Fake letter case dismissed

A Portuguese cleaner who claimed her letter of resignation at an historic Suffolk hotel had been forged by staff has lost her employment tribunal Fernanda Fernandes, 32, from Bury St Edmunds, claimed a staff at the Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds had used her poor understanding of English to get rid of her as she had been pregnant and about to take maternity leave.

A Portuguese cleaner who claimed her letter of resignation at an historic Suffolk hotel had been forged by staff has lost her employment tribunal case.

Fernanda Fernandes, 32, from Bury St Edmunds, claimed a staff member at the Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds had used her poor understanding of English to get rid of her as she had been pregnant and about to take maternity leave.

The case was dismissed.
