A MOTORCYCLIST has died and his pregnant passenger is in a serious condition in hospital following a crash in Colchester.
The accident between a motorbike and a jeep happened around 10.30am. The 26-year-old male driver of the Honda bike from Colchester was pronounced dead at the scene and his pregnant passenger was taken to hospital where she is in a serious condition.
A 42-year-old man from Harwich, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has since been bailed, pending further enquiries, until October 31.
