POLICE are growing increasingly concerned about a 16-year-old Lowestoft girl, who has been missing since Monday morning.

Samantha Paterson was last seen by her family at about 9.15am when she left her home for Lowestoft College.

A police spokesman said: “This is the first time Ms Paterson has gone missing and it is out of character. She is also known to suffer from asthma.”

Samantha is white, 5ft 5ins, of slim build, with light brown hair that passes her shoulders. Her hair is usually straight, but she is known to change its style. She is also described as looking younger than her age suggests and having an East Anglian accent.

When she left home, she was wearing a three-quarter length black wool coat, black jeans and black trainers.

Anyone with information should call the duty sergeant at Lowestoft police station on 01986 835300.
