A film enthusiast has today helped a photographer identify an unusual aircraft spotted over Old Felixstowe.
Linda Bohea took this photo yesterday and uploaded it to our photo-sharing site iwitness24 .
She entitled her photo ‘UFO?’ and said: “This weird looking plane flew over Old Felixstowe today, does anyone know what sort of plane it is?”
Today Dennis Cyrille emailed to inform Linda and other curious readers that it is in fact a Boeing V-22 Osprey.
He said it is “used by the US Military and also featured in the Transformers film”.
