POLICE are trying to trace a man who approached two 11-year-old girls playing in Felixstowe.

Officers said the girls were playing in bushes when they heard a motorcycle and then the man approached them.

“He made a comment to them that upset them and the girls fled,” said a police spokeswoman.

The incident took place around 4pm last Thursday, June 21, in Runnacles Way, Felixstowe.

The man is described as white, aged in his late teens to early 20s, about 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with short dark hair and a tribal tattoo on his upper arm, and wearing a black sleeveless top, black jeans and black boots and carrying a black and white motorcycle helmet and a black rucksack with white stripes.

“There may be an innocent explanation for the incident but police need to speak to the man involved and are asking him, or anyone with information about who he is, to come forward,” said the spokeswoman.

Anyone who can help should call Felixstowe police on 101.
