Female cyclist treated for head injuries following crash on A137 near Jimmy’s Farm turn-off

A female cyclist believed to be in her 40s was taken to Ipswich Hospital after a collision with a car on the A137 near Jimmy’s Farm.
Police and a rapid response ambulance car were sent to the scene at around 7.30am.
An ambulance spokesman said the patient had suspected head injuries but was in a stable condition.
The incident caused serious congestion between Tattingstone and Wherstead during early morning rush-hour.
The road was opened at 9.25am.
