SUFFOLK escaped any heavy snowfall today but with temperatures remaining chilly, drivers could face a frosty journey home tonight.
Just one traffic collision was reported on the roads this morning despite driving conditions still being dicey, but isolated patches of sleet and snow could be on the way again.
Tonight is forecast to be mainly dry inland with a slight overnight frost. Only the coast will see showers going into tomorrow morning when sleet or snow is more likely elsewhere.
The advice once again is to drive carefully and wrap up for another cold night.
