FIRE crews from Suffolk and Norfolk were needed to tackle a blaze in a power station.A number of crews were called to the Fibropower station on Oaksmere Business Park in Eye at 4am on Sunday.
FIRE crews from Suffolk and Norfolk were needed to tackle a blaze in a power station.
A number of crews were called to the Fibropower station on Oaksmere Business Park in Eye at 4am on Sunday.
The fire had started in a hydraulic pumping station and later spread to the first floor.
All power to the station was isolated before fire-fighters from Eye, Diss, Beccles and Stradbroke began to tackle the flames.
By 6.45am the area had been made safe and work to contain a number of isolated hotspots was being carried out.
