FIVE fire crews are currently tackling a blaze in the roof of the Unilever food factory in Lowestoft.
Fire broke out in ducting in the roof of the factory at 12.19pm today.
All staff have been evacuated from the Whapload Road site, which is used for frying foods.
A Suffolk Fire Service spokesman said at 2pm that around five per cent of the building was currently affected by the fire.
Four crews from Lowestoft have been joined by one from Beccles and work to remove insulation material from the roof to help slow the spread of flames has already been completed.
