A GORSE fire in Ipswich had to be tackled by two crews of firefighters today.
Plumes of smoke could be seen coming from Rushmere Heath on Woodbridge Road at about 5pm after 300 square metres of gorse caught on fire.
Two fire engines from Ipswich attended the scene and it was under control by about 5.35pm.
