AN INVESTIGATION has been launched today after a fire severely damaged a house in Great Barton.
Three crews from Bury St Edmunds attended the two-storey building in The Park at 1.20am today, and on arrival, they requested the assistance of two more crews.
A crew from the East of England Ambulance Trust was called and a man suffering from smoke inhalation was treated at the scene.
EDF Energy was also called to isolate the house's power supply.
The incident was over by 2.25am.
