FIREFIGHTERS were called to a smoke-logged flat in Ipswich today.A crew from Princes Street and one from the fire service's headquarters in Colchester Road were called to tackle the fire at Palmerston Court, Palmerston Road, at 8.40am.

A crew from Princes Street and one from the fire service's headquarters in Colchester Road were called to tackle the fire at Palmerston Court, Palmerston Road, at 8.40am today. The incident was over by 9.05am.
It is not known at this stage how the fire was caused or where it started.
