FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in a thatched cottage in Aspall today.Crews were called to the cottage in Aspall, near Debenham, at 2.45pm. It was found that the curtains in the first floor bedroom were alight and smoke was entering the loft and going through the thatch.
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in a thatched cottage in Aspall today.
Crews were called to the cottage in Aspall, near Debenham, at 2.45pm. It was found that the curtains in the first floor bedroom were alight and smoke was entering the loft and going through the thatch.
Fire crews from Debenham, Eye, Stradbroke, Needham and Ipswich attended the blaze and the incident was finished by 3.20pm.
