FIREFIGHTERS were called to Rushmere Heath after a blaze broke out in undergrowth.
A crew from Colchester Road fire station were called to Heath Road shortly before 3.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said 100sqm of heath had been alight.
Beaters and one hose reel were used to bring the fire under control shortly before 3.50pm.
