POLICE are investigating a suspected arson following a blaze at a derelict building in Stowmarket.Firefighters were called to a group of derelict buildings in Milden Road East in the town after smoke was spotted coming out of a first floor window in one of the properties.

Firefighters were called to a group of derelict buildings in Milden Road East in the town after smoke was spotted coming out of a first floor window in one of the properties.
Crews from Stowmarket and Needham Market attended the fire at around 8.55pm yesterday evening.
A fire service spokeswoman said two fires were discovered - one on the first floor and one at the rear of the building.
She said: “Police have been informed due to the suspicious nature.”
Nobody was injured in the fire.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a single hose reel to control the flames by 9.10pm.
A crew was also called to Barrett's Lane, Needham Market at 9.03pm after cut logs were found well alight.
